EAUL invites applications from individuals with a strong profile in the fields of teaching and research linking architecture, habitat and culture, from the perspective of intercultural approaches. This field investigates and questions the ways in which architecture articulates human presence and experience. Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

–  A masterful understanding of the evolution of theories, methods, practices and debates in the field, whether from the current state of knowledge or societal trends, and of their potential to address the sustainable and culturally responsible transformation of living environments.

–  A proven track record of collaboration with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds (from local communities to decision-makers), with teaching and research achievements that demonstrate tangible impacts.

– Ability to initiate and maintain collaborative research partnerships and networks.

The successful candidate will teach history-theory courses and design studio, supervise graduate design thesis students, participate actively in the life and the running of the school, promote its activities internationally and contribute to the evolution of its graduate and undergraduate programs.
