EAUL invites applications from individuals with a strong profile in the fields of teaching and research linking architecture, habitat and culture, from the perspective of intercultural approaches. This field investigates and questions the ways in which architecture articulates human presence and experience. Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

–  A masterful understanding of the evolution of theories, methods, practices and debates in the field, whether from the current state of knowledge or societal trends, and of their potential to address the sustainable and culturally responsible transformation of living environments.

–  A proven track record of collaboration with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds (from local communities to decision-makers), with teaching and research achievements that demonstrate tangible impacts.

– Ability to initiate and maintain collaborative research partnerships and networks.

This field covers the theoretical and concrete issues surrounding the constructive, structural, tectonic, mechanical and energy and building envelope systems that architecture articulates in a specific environment, including their integration into the project in creative and innovative ways.

EAUL invites applications from individuals with a strong profile in the teaching and researching of digital architecture and fabrication. Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

–  Advanced knowledge of the “digital” in architecture, from its historical roots in complementary disciplines to its importance in the theory and practice of architecture.

– A mastery of state-of-the-art tools and instruments, for example: generative and parametric design, digital manufacturing and fabrication, 3D printing, Big Data and machine learning, and robotics.

– A capacity to bridge academia and industry and to develop real-world applications or collaborations with industrial partners that will transform not only architectural practice but its relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
